Welcome

Image of the church called Sunderland Minster on a sunny day

Sunderland Minster is part of the Inclusive Church Network, following Jesus’ command to love all of our neighbours as much as we love ourselves.
This means that nobody is excluded by age, ability, financial circumstances, background, gender or sexuality from the love of Christ – and we exclude nobody from our fellowship.

The Minster is open to the public to visit, or for private prayer Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. You are very welcome to come and explore our beautiful building – to spend some time in quiet, to light a candle and pray.

We are striving to be a “Jesus Shaped People” – modelling our church life, and our personal lives on the Jesus we meet when we read the Bible, and through his Holy Spirit, living in us.
